Just listen to everything they say and learn. Last month at this time I had never been in a big rig.... Now just today I drove one from Charlotte, NC down here to Talladega, Alabama heading for Birmingham. Pay attention to everything, out on the road its not an option.

Thanks ORD....I will have my CDL when I arrive...I have to take weekend classes because I a currently employeed thats why July...about half way thru currently. Had a CDL in the eighties..but let it laspe

I don't know if any of us will ever be able to learn everything...but I hear ya...at least we can take a big bite out of it anyway

good luck i been with prime for about a year and im doin good, just a tip a good rapport with FM is extremely beneficial you dont gotta kiss his arse but ya kno what i mean. and get ready for the roller coaster!

Just filled out application online at Primes site...and for that driving section,as far as driving experience I put N/A in each of the required fillins on that app.I talked to a recruiter at the M
ffice and he explained so fast about the options...he told me straight up that after I fill out the application online,I would be on a waiting list of some sorts until they can have someone available to hook up with?? He says they try to pair you up with someone in relation to where your from
...does this make sense?Either way,I hope the outcome is positive and I get a response.I was thinking myself while I wait to try and aquire a permit before I head out,probably would be easier on myself and their time.Guess I will also keep reading on into all your posts here and the others to get future heads up.Thanks.
