Prime asks driver to use its DOT Physician for annual physical

    My buddy went to an approved DOT physician for his annual physical. When he submitted it to Prime he was told that Prime would not accept his physical from that doctor and was referred to another physical for his annual physical. Can they do that?

    most of these megas demand that you go to their doctor because they cant put their in you or your doctor for liability purposes

    i dont know why they asked him to go to a previous physician

    Besides, our company pays for it. And the Doctor and I discuss why we are both working past 65. Both like our jobs, I guess.

    Basically the guy went to a physician who fudged some papers for him hoping to dodge primes standards

    Thats usually the case. Guy is trying to hide or get away with something.

    Policy may have changed but as far as i know there has been two choices. Physical at any Concentra clinic or a physical with Prime's doctor at his clinic at the Campus Inn (Trinity Healthcare, which used to be called Orion)
