Not quite sure what you're getting at here. You can add it or drop the dental coverage at will - there is no waiting period for benefits, although some procedures can't be done without having coverage for a specified time.
There is also no requirement to be enrolled in their medical coverage in order to have dental coverage... -
When did that change? It was 3 months employment and then you'd be added at the next open enrollment when I started.
I have to admit that I haven't seen the enrollment reminders come across the QC lately -
That part is still there... have to be employed 180 days before benefits go into effect - didn't think about that. However, you can still add or drop dental coverage at will.
-
Open enrollment is in May (we are waiting for it to get here!!) If you sign up at the 90 day mark you can get coverage then, otherwise you must wait for an open enrollment period. If you have not been there at least a year you pay a higher rate, at one year the rate is cut by almost half.

Not for dental. You can add it or drop at any time.

yes ironpony is right
-
So I can take dental only at my 90 day window as a company driver is this correct
-
They have gap coverage for when you start... its a cheap catastrophic med policy, but better than nothing if a disaster occurs.
At 180 days after employment, you can enroll in the medical plan - thereafter you can only change that at open enrollment in May. But... you can add or drop the dental coverage whenever you like - independently of what you do with the medical coverage; you just have to be past the 180-day point. -
Still work for Prime there Ironpony?
