Ran across a 28-year-old reefer guy last year walking around in a very stiff fashion. Got to talking to him... he fell off of a flatbed load he was tarping (a prime guy)... broke his back. Kinda hard to do that in a reefer trailer full of potatoes.

####.......Feel for him. Broke mine about 10yrs ago and could barely walk for 7yrs. One of reasons I went reefer.

Can & have been able to sleep through nearly anything imaginable. Certain areas of PA, not so much.

Co-driver made it in to SpringMo last night, but trailer pulled for servicing. Last leg of OK 90 when it's done.

Checked on it after couple of hours. Not done. They will call. Don't count on it. Caught some sleep & then checked again. Been done for hours.

Having grown up in PA, I can tell you that the roads now are a LOT better than they were in the '70s. Word on the street was that PA stayed at 55 so long because the roads were so bad. There are still some areas that can use some improvement.

I-81 NB a few miles before the PA Turnpike will definitely shake the dirt off of your tires...

Amen to that! it's funny ya see they cut those rumble strips into the yellow and white lines to wake the drunken texters up,but between those rumblers and pot holes, you can bust a tooth or pop a kidney just going out for groceries.I own property in the poconos, but thankfully don't need to get out there much anymore-GOD bless!

Another REAL bad stretch is 84 w/b comin into matamoras/milford,you almost can't drive in the slow lane cuz of how chewed up it is,I've seen that same stretch from there to hamlin repaved at least 5 times in the last twenty or so years,it doesn't seem to last too long for some reason
