I love the south. Pulled into 90 with 1300 appt for tomorrow. Unloaded for the cost of "lunch." $5.00 Would have been $50 in NE or Chicago! Parking here so I'll have a fresh clock first thing in the AM.

 

Sitting at Walmart in Camden Delaware, 1 mile from my 90 which drops at 8:00, 3 hours from now.

 

Sitting at Glaxosmith in Memphis. This has been interesting. Picked up a load from OH to Buckeye AZ but swapped with a guy outside Albuquerque. His clock was hurt, so we hooked and now headed to VA. Near Memphis we get notice to swap in knoxville and pull a load back to Memphis. 4 days and finally bumped a dock. Not a bad thing, but has made the ride interesting. About 4000 more miles to upgrade.

 

Loading. Central CA to Eastern TN. Delivery is Wed. But looks like I can offload sometime Monday night or Tuesday.

Gonna keep me south of the frozen stuff.

I57 in IL, approx mm190 20-30 mile back up ice road cats and trucks in the median and ditches. Pretty bad out here. Someone posted on another thread about what to look for as far as black ice, and i made the comment to look out for other cars in the ditches, paid off today. Be careful everyone if your in this mess.

 

Sitting at 01 in Uniontown, PA. Missed our appt time today. Dispatch gave us 6.5 hours to go 375 miles and a fuel stop in between. Picking up load at 6am now and heading to Long Beach CA.
