Finished meat load in Scranton, SC. Then down to Goose Creek for pick up. At the Wilco-Hess in Kenly. Thursday AM appt in Teterboro, NJ.

Truck accident on the US 52 truck route in Florence had the road shut down. Got out and asked a police officer if there was a safe route around, or if I should wait for clean up. Worried about a low looking railroad underpass without a clearance sign around the corner. Got a not very confident, "sure, just follow the cars." Pissed off quite a few motorists on their commute to work by very carefully ensuring I could clear that underpass. I thought they'd be happy I made certain we didn't have two roads blocked by trucks!

 

Gone from Jersey. Hazmat good! Hazmat gets ya off the east coast!! Heading to SLC via Billings, then Denver (somehow)...

Sitting at my 90 in westfield mass. 02 in boston this morning with a 2100 drop time out here and a live unld. So got some time in the sleeper.

 

Reloading at Del Monte in Palmetto, FL! For a change a load out of Florida that is NOT Tropicana! Pays a LITTLE better - everything does! And it's a live load, so in and out, not waiting for drop and hook. Headed to Columbus, OH for Friday evening.
