PRIME drivers...What's your 20?

I am so tweaked right now, Got my sweet load to Henderson NC repowered to Rocky mount because another driver committed to a load KNOWING he did not have the time to deliver, Guess who is getting hosed. Instead of eating dinner, I am sitting at Mclane for the next 4 to 5 hours with his load. Not happy

 

Sitting at home getting some time to clear out doctor appts and some fishing with the kids while my truck gets some TLC at FL in Sprimo. Had a lean to the driver side and on Saturday had the front pulling hard to the left (oh yea... in 2 lane traffic no less) Diagnosis: Spindle damage at some point before I got the truck . Mechanic told Prime that it looked like a chisel was to blame all across the spindle. The new part still isn't in, and I still have to get the APU put on. Glad I took a whole 5 days off for this. More to follow as I sit and wait... (well, not really... MW3 with the kids and some fishing and some house hunting and some time with a sexy woman

 

Here's a new one for me. After sitting on the dock at Mclane for 5 hours, they tell me I am done. Go in pay lumper ($330.00) get paperwork.
(no drivers allowed on dock here). Go get in truck, pull away from dock to reset load lock and get reefer running for second load and WHOOPS, truck is empty. NO SECOND STOP anymore. Currently awaiting a respopnse from sales through dispatch. Lady said all was combined into one stop with no overages or shortages. Both stops were Mclane

 

Getting ready to leave Springfield, stopped in for fuel and a shower, headed to Flagstaff from illinois. Been running back and forth from Cal to Tenn on 40 for the last couple of weeks

 

rest area cottage grove OR final drop tomorrow hoping for something going back south hoping to avoid chain restrictions heading back down I5 in oregon im stuck in surrounded by this storms...nice

 

wow wish id knew you were that close dont think i would of accepted the challenge with the over hang i had on this load but who knows maybe next time

 

After a call from sales they suddenly found the 16 pallets that they were not supposed to remove from the truck. So now i am re-loaded sitting for the rest of a 8-2 split then off to Fredericksburg around 0100. Hopefully home by noon tomorrow. What an adventure

Petro off I81 in Pa. Drop tomorrow in Ma. Not allowed to go in early, and after the adventure of driving through NYC twice in one day, Im done for the night.
