PRIME drivers...What's your 20?

Pittsboro IN... got a preplan for Denver on Tuesday. Going to take a couple at the home 20!

 

Husband was there a few months ago and had to undig the trailer from behind 2 trailers; nothing but mud and rain. It looks like they should afford putting in some concrete, just think of all the possible germs you may pick up.

 

He's at Silver Sage Travel Plaza in Ely, NV. It was a Sinclair at one time, now a Chevron. Has showers for under $6.00, a grill and truckers lounge. Small lot, park as you will.

 

Ill be passing thru there tomorrow.

 

Most of the packing plants are like that... mudholes when its wet, dustbins when it's dry. Be happy when you're dispatched to someplace like Cargill in Ottawa IL, Dodge City KS, or Ft Morgan CO that has paved trailer lots. Heck, even Smithfield in Tar Heel NC is paved!

 

I don't get to run across US-50 much but always stop there when I do. Never noticed they had showers, thanks.

 

Prime convention at the new Chobani yogurt factory in Twin Falls, ID. Their still working out the kinks. Plant opened mid-Dec.

Officially one trailer there for Prime drop n hooks. Red Wil Trans driver was the lucky SOB. Other dozen Prime trucks had to live load.

 

ASSociated Beverage - Ottumwa. Gettin' loaded. Slowly...

So, dispatch comes up with the bright idea that my 1500 unload in Hannibal MO, should be followed by a 1400 load in Ottumwa. Uh huh. Mr Peabody says the Way Back Machine (TM) is down for maintenance. Got out of Hannibal early, arrived Ottumwa 1600-ish, which means you go to the penalty box and the end of the line. GRRR!

Headed to Seattle with a flower load. Was gonna head to sprimo, but $$$ talks. Had a great time watching the superbowl and making fun of Pete drivers in Pierson (PRIPIE) last night waiting for the loads to be prepared. Those guys work hard down there. Prime bought us Sonny's BBQ sandwiches and later bought us about 400 McDonald's chicken sandwiches.....
