Thanks guys! The key is to pound the keyboard, scream, throw things and type whats on your mind. Then before hitting the submit button, delete the whole thing and type some thing within the guidelines. Try it, it works.... for me.

i'm surprised not a single person came in and asked if i was being 100% serious about the whole alcohol thing. i wasn't. i don't really care if somebody is having a cold one in their cab.........as long as they don't drive off after the fact. however, i mainly drive during the night time and i am gone long before most of the crowd leaves the truck stop. the only thing i don't do is drink while i'm away. it's just how i am. if i am out with other drivers, somebody offers to buy a pitcher, or a beer, i'll decline it. one of the best, most interesting layovers happened a year and a half ago. along with me, there were 5 cfi drivers, and 8 swift drivers all in calexico. it was a weekend. we all came to the agreement we'd all go down to mexicali for some fun. yeah, it was fun, and not a single one of us cared we sat over the weekend. i've kept in touch with each of those drivers since then.
it's a free world and the internet is great for the anonymity it grants me. you know what really gets me off? proclaiming my allegiance to secularism and the the optimism that religion will fall in this country. it's been happening throughout the decades. it's the true way to a sane world. right wing nutters are still going on about obama being in office. i wonder how they'll take it when/if someday a secular person is elected. so what that i drive for knight. i plan on getting out of the otr madness. just waiting patiently for that chance. there's no pride in being a mobile hobo. i'll take the hourly pay any day, any time.
