all it is is a ticket...a civil infraction 110 dollars...THAT will screw me?????!!!!!

The FMCSA website says 15 and over is a serious event, not a major one. It also says that one serious event does not disqualify you. A second one in 3 yrs will disqualify u for 60 days

DH got a ticket from the highway patrol before going to Prime and it was 15 mph over the limit. He went and pled it down to 9 over. That way he would receive any points on his license and he could still work for Prime. -

I suggest you contact your recruiter.
Open, upfront and honest......ALWAYS! -
Should i ask the recruter or keep quite and plead it down? It doesn't even say anything on the website btw

Not sure if it'll screw you, but you better let your recruiter know ASAP. Don't try to hide it, they'll find it and if they even think you're trying to hide it, they'll send you packing.
Not good dude. Lesson #1. Your drivers license is your livelihood. Protect it at ALL costs! I understand mistakes are made, but you need to be extra careful now!

I can vouch for them. It's going to cost ya a little bit, but you need to find the money and pay them. They specialize in protecting TRUCKERS. They aren't an ordinary traffic defense firm. Chances are, they can dismiss the ticket. If not, they will try to reduce it to a parking violation or some other non-moving violation. They're good. Call them. You NEED to protect yourself from now on! Borrow money from friends, family, or do whatcha gotta do. This is bad timing, you need to get it taken care of.
Call your recruiter, tell them you did nothing wrong, and that you're currently working with Interstate Trucker (all trucking companies are familiar with them). Tell them that you fully expect it to be thrown out in court. They might make you wait until it's taken care of. I don't know. But that's all you can do at this point. DON'T TRY TO HIDE IT!!!
Good luck. -
Oh, BTW, if it makes you feel any better, I was hired with a year old ticket for doing 84 in a 65. With yours being so recent, it might be a problem. But it's not going to screw you for years and years. I'm proof of that.
