Finally finished PSD this morning. Tested out and passed everything on the first go around. Waiting on my TNT trainer now. Hopefully in a couple months or less I’ll be upgrading to my own truck. Out.

Veryblessed, Rollr4872, Dan.S and 4 others Thank this.

Nice congrats. Keep your head up and try not to let the long/hard/bad days get you down or change your attitude. Youre doing great

After all I’ve read on here and heard from other drivers...why is everyone I meet here at Prime telling me to go lease?

I think leasing is alot like being an owner, you have to know all the in's and outs to make it work. I would pass on a lease at least for awhile - Best of luck

    Veryblessed and captjimmy Thank this.

Ya, I was going to go company for a year or so to see how everything works. That said, I haven’t met a single company driver yet.

    Veryblessed Thanks this.

You need to be careful. There are many who have failed at leasing with Prime. You can make more. But you need to be wise. You need to learn, first.
There is a guy who Red Viking Trucker did an interview with on youtube. His name is John. He is a lease operator with Prime. John is great. You should look at that interview. Then call John up. He knows how to make it work. He was a businessman before this.
You should also look at both; The Trucking Exec. and Jeffery Like, on youtube.
There is also a very long thread right here from a successful lease operator with Prime. Right here in the Prime forum. He talks about waiting, learning, and leasing when ready. Don't cut yourself short. Remember...many have failed.

EDIT: Just to throw in what they will advise you whom I referred you to. You should use this year to learn business practices. Bookkeeping, projecting business, setting up an LLC, etc.

    captjimmy Thanks this.

I’ve been in my TNT phase of training now since Thursday. It’s going great so far. My trainer is awesome and a very good teacher. He just started his 3rd lease and got an automatic which kind of sucks. Anyways, not much new here, just driving. I’ll be checking back soon enough. Out.
