I have my own authority sir. But this is turning in to petty bickering, which I care not to do. Your work for somebody else fine. Long as your OK with it .

Thank you I just try to put the truth out where I can. Just to make the road easier for someone else.

Then put the "truth out" by all means, but try to have a mediocum of reality in it. What you posted up there for numbers is not "truth," and refuting what you posted is not bickering, but putting reality into erroneous claims.

    Huh???

There's no cost to prepare a settlement, but you can pay them $21.25 for a breakdown of what's in there. Whether your time is worth $21.25 per hour... that's about what kind of time it would take to replicate the data, is entirely up to the lease operator. It's $1.00 for a Comcheck. Like I said... if you're going to tell the world about how Prime works, at least put some reality into the numbers.

Fair enough... it's been some time since I leased from them. So... they pay a person to do the payroll for the ICs. In other words, Prime provides a service to a person who is independently contracting to haul freight for them. Where does it say that Prime is supposed to provide their services free to people who are not employees?? I expect that as an independent businessman, your accountant doesn't provide their services free to you, do they? Take the salary of that payroll person and the fraction of that person's time devoted to performing statement preparation, divide it by the number of ICs who are provided this service, and I'll bet it comes out to $76.25. Good help isn't cheap.

BTW... my statement has a line in it called "accounting services." It's $21.75. But I don't lease a truck from Prime either.
