Prime has always been picky in my opinion .

When I first got my CDL in 2012 , they rejected my application because I had 1 year of unemployment . They rejected another guy I trained with because he got fired from his real estate job some years ago . It probably didn't help that we were living in Florida at the time which is the 'black hole of trucking' . We both went to Covenant Transport a week later , they didn't seem to care about any of that

Between how picky Prime is normally plus the accident plus the covid19 non sense , I can see why they rejected you at this time .

It's a job, but they're horrible to work for IMO

It's not a great idea to withhold asked for information during the application or orientation process when it comes to this highly regulated industry. This issue transcends DAC/Hireright and DMV records. Insurance companies keep records. Old employers keep records and these records are not subject to the same records restrictions hireright and other reporting agencies are. If you fail to report something asked for, again LOOK AT the actual question NOT what you think the question is. @Chinatown and I both have been clear about this process. You also have NO privacy protections most of the time because if you don't sign a waiver the company will just round file your app! The last thing you want is to get sent home from an orientation because either a lie by commission or omission was discovered.

This is my message to this OP. There are other carriers out there. Tell Prime to kiss your posterior and look elsewhere. You get with a company, make them a great hand, make your pickups and deliveries on time, and take good care of the equipment! Do this for several years and you will soon see more and more doors open to you!

Here's the new website for Covenant.
The website covers Covenant Group, which is Star Transportation, Covenant, Landair, SRT.
Apply to all 4 of these companies also. They're listed at the bottom of opening page.
