The venue is determined at the time the contract goes into force and that should determine which statute of limitations applies. The venue should be specified in the contract you sign. Don't think they can't get you if you move to another state though. Venue just determines where you will be sued. If there is a judgement against you they can get a court in another state to enforce it. Or if you have money in a bank they may be able to just go to the state where the bank is incorporated and serve them there, then walk off with your money.

No honor in doing the right thing anymore nowadays. It's always someone else fault, whether it be the man, the system, or whatever.

It's not just the trucking industry, it's society in general. Also don't worry about saving for retirement, health care, housing, or really anything. Us stupid people who save for retirement, have health insurance, pay way too much in taxes, live within our means, and generally act as stand up members of society and act civilized will cover for you.

SMH at all you guys telling him to pay it.

He's got 2 years left before the account disappears from his credit. Why would he want to reset the 7 year clock?

Granted, I agree with you all. But seriously. It's been mentioned in some of the posts.

He can be hounded for the rest of life. But as far as his credit goes. He's almost done.

Socal Xpress and Chinatown Thank this.

Was the prime contract digital or physical that you signed?

So did they get a judgement and are garnishing you yet or have you managed to elude paying it?

His last log in was almost 3 years ago.

And his 7 years has expired. It's probably not showing anymore.
