Prime Mobile app document scanning

I started using it back in December, it works really well. It's especially handy since the scanner in my truck is junk.

The quality of the image is 10 times better than the transflo or TripPak apps.

I got it early Jan. Ive never had payroll request a rescan yet with the Prime App. It's usually a 50/50 crap shoot with those other 2 apps.

 

The only time I had an issue was with border xing not wanting a picture of my bills / customs documents that they pass on to a broker. I think the image quality is better on the app than my truck scanner but they have some issue with it.

 

You guys have in cab scanniing? That is handy! Wish we had that option sometimes.

The only thing is using the phone you will eat up your data a lot faster, ours is connected with the internet share plan and I sure can't afford to lose anymore gb unless it is an emergency and husband is out in the middle of nowhere and has to send one in.

 

A little more about this app. All other methods shoot color pics this converts to b&w so even the faintest of contrast produces a crisp image. It is now the preferred method of scanning trips. This is because the trips come into the system pre sorted andindexed when they come in. So payroll no longer has to do this. Most trips sent by the app sre recieved processed any sent to billing in 8 minutes.

In very near future there will be a messaging portal where the entire trip msgs will be sent to phone through the app. Instead of the first 7 lines in current txt format. You will be able to have all the pick up numbers in your hand at the shipper even if you did not write them all down. Heck you wont even need too. Too much more to post.

Also the black and ehite photos should not use up that much bandwidth
