No he was not in the sleeper, he was giving me advice, told me I was going to slow. Maybe I am making to much of this. It was only day 4 and I was not expecting it, all the miles I drove prior was mostly flat. So I think in my mind I was'nt ready, obviously he did. I did learn alot thats for sure. I guess maybe the thinking is throw him in the fire and see if he gets burned. Sure am glad I did'nt get burned lol.........:biggrin_25523:

I was I can't he said do it or you will come to a stop, So I up shifted then he said hammer to the floor... So I did that, Then on the way back down he said shift up to X and I did and then he showed me how turning on the jake helped!! It was cool... Getting my Alligent Ticket n Monday. Later Dude. Hey TD, I hope everthing works for you. In our conversations you seem like good people. I do not regret coming to Prime, and believe they are a good company to work for. So far I have had good luck when needing advice. Or any situations arise that I am not sure how to handle, I have had good luck with the associates here, they have been very understanding and seem to realize this is new for me. They give me advice and say hang in their. If I have any problems they have told me they will take care of it right away, and you no what I believe it. God bless my friend and be safe....:biggrin_25514:

By the way when you get to Springfield, if you have any questions feel free to ask. I know I am new but at least I have gone through the orientation process. I will help anyway I can. Just stay away from all the negative people, even if you have to hang out alone, that crap can rub off on you, stay positive and have a good experience. Hey getting unloaded right know in Buena Vista, CA I am enjoying this so far. Not sure where we go from here but I wil keep you posted. And you do the same.

Same with you man, I'm very blessed to be able to go to Prime, I am sure there will be the negs. In school I picked out those that I thought were going to make it and I was right 4 guys dropped.... The same 4 that were questioning the instructors ability to teach and his time in a truck, I just laughed and stayed away from those guys. Take Care put your learning hat on everyday and keep it moving. TD.

I said it before and I will say it again. Prime is an awesome school and they are a great company to work for. Yeah the trucks are not fast if your a company driver whatever, there still a great company and they pay great and I do not regret working for them and getting my CDL through them.

Good luck to you all out there and be safe.

Hi,:biggrin_25523: I am headed to Springfiled Mo. on Monday afternoon I fly in straight from Mesa Az. I am flying on Alligent Air as they fly out of Mesa Arizona which for me is about 1 hours drive but it beats a 2 hour lay over in SLC, Denver or Memphis or where ever else, I got the ticket for about the same amout of the Gray Dog price and will be there in about 3 day sooner.. LOl. I'm looking forward to a career at Prime, I had other choices but after I sat down and talked to my very loving and supportive wife about the different choices, I have decided that Prime is the best fit for me. If there is anyone headed to Prime in Springfield Mo. for Orientation on Aug. 4, Let me know either PM or leave a message here. See you all out there. :biggrin_25514::biggrin_25514::biggrin_2559:
