You are correct in that I did not go back and read this thread from the beginning. But I have been driving solo for Maverick for almost 8 months and have been on this thread since last December. It just seems to me that it is none stop bashing of Prime on everything. I have a friend that drives for Prime and he is very happy. There is another person that I communicate with on this thread that is also very happy at Prime.
Iron Pony and U2 seem to be very professional and very intelligent....and they seem to be very happy at Prime.
I did consider going there at the beginning as I did with several companies.
It just did not end up that way. I am very happy where I am and an not looking at the grass on the greener side.
I have learned that the grass may indeed be greener on the other side, but it takes a lot of manure and hard work to keep it that way.

So, my question is how long will the beating the dead horse with a stick continue?:biggrin_2556:

As long as there are wronged drivers to feed the fire ...

    The same with any company.

God bless those who are happy with their situation - because many are not.

"The three Men I admire the most are the Father, Son and Holy Ghost!" Don Mclean from the song. American Pie.

America stands for Freedom. And we have a Constitution that grants us the Right to Free Speech. Unfortunately some have the obscure reason to try and silence drivers with the use of multi line quotes. I believe everyone has a right to express his or her opinion and ideas.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly; All companies have problems. Only a fool would be in so much denial not to admit it. We learn from each other by sharing. When we forget that, God Help us.

We are intellegent creatures, engaged in a higher form of communication. We can share thoughts upon this medium that hopefully help others.

    Stand Proud ........ for Freedom!

Iron Pony... I have read several responses to your threads on various topics and I would say I have to appreciate your brutal honesty... I am retired 45 and starting a new career and would like your honest opinion. I am leaning toward Prime Inc. I have done some research on some other companies like
Warner, JB Hunt, Swift, ect.. all seem to have horor stories on how newbies were treated. As far as Newbies go... It appears that Prime Inc. does not seem too bad of a company to work for to get some training. I just got my provisional CDL from California with all the endorsements, but I do not have any driving experience. I do not expect Prime Inc. to hold my hand and wipe my butt and I do not expect everything will be all rainbows, unicorns and ponies. I realize I am a Newb... I just want to work hard, keep a positive attitude and get some experience and make a little money. I am not worried about starving to death, I have a pension from my retirment. What do you think? If you had a do over and you were a Newb, who would you start out with??? Do you have any recommendations of any other companies you would work for? Would you recommend Prime Inc.??? Thank you...

Prime is a great starter company, don't let them talk you into a fleece deal. Stay on the company side for a year, get your experience, thats what I did.. I have heard that some drivers at prime use these forums to entice new drivers to give them referel credit. I know when I worked there, I tried to recruit as many people as I could for that referel credit. It can add up to a large chunk of change if you can get them in... Don't believe everything you hear, good or bad. Its usally something in between, or ulterior motives indeed......
