Other than the regional NE fleet, I've never seen it advertised, but both regional and dedicated runs exist at Prime in various areas. Based on the conversations I've had with my FM, if you want to stay in a particular area, they'll work with you. Just don't complain about the miles. Thats not to say they won't be good or what you would like, they could be fine. But when you limit your area, you limit your possibilities, and it will likely affect the bottom line...

Based on what I've read in these forums, dedicated routes come and go as things change in the industry, so whether there is one "here" now might not mean there is one later. I might be off-base, but I don't think so. I've read the long-time drivers say the only source of good information on them is your FM, which you won't have until you get into the system. So get into Prime, do their training, then ask.

the only regional that i know of at prime is the northeast regional on the reefer side and the texas regional on the flatbed side

There is Western Regional for Reefer. But that is a HUGE region. Sometimes called Western 12.
I don't hear about it much, but I met a guy a few years ago that was W.regional. He didn't like going East. -
One smart guy.

There are a number of company guys dedicated to pulling loads out of specific shippers. The ones I hear about quite frequently include Champaign IL, Reed City MI, Haverhill MA, Rotterdam NY. Outbound to service those shippers, then getting a load to run you back up there.
