No, that old terminal was NOT representative of how Swift treats us. I spent a few days there with my truck in the shop shortly before Prime bought it, and it was easily the WORST terminal in the company.
The merging of Central Refrigerated (owned by Jerry Moyes since he bought Dick Simon Trucking out of bankruptcy in 2002) into Swift had been known for some time, but not made public. Once the decision was made, Swift quit maintaining the SLC facility, since they were going to transfer to the Central facility in West Valley City. So yes, it was quite run down by the time Prime took it over.
Go back over the old SLC threads, and you'll find me saying that renovation of that terminal should start with the liberal use of a bulldozer...
