Prime School Dates??

    Hi all,
    I am looking into going to prime and have a few questions..
    How often does prime have a class starting?
    and how do the work the holidays like Christmas if you are in training?
    Does anyone know anything about the NE Regional division, and what is the best way to end up working there?..
    I am sure I will have more questions, hahahaha

    Classes start every week, not sure bout holidays. Yes we do have a route dedicated to Hell, I mean the NE. Ask a recruiter about gettin on it

    Holidays depends on where you are. If you are Prime's facility I would guess its a day off.

    If you are out on the road. More then likely you will be working still. This depends on your instructor/trainer.

    Sheesh! You newbs ain't got a clue, do ya?

    Prime allows you to pick one of the three major holidays (Turkey Day, Christmas or New Years) to go home on. They spend the week preceding, setting y'all up to get you home on or before your desired day. Same hometime rules apply for everyone on the holidays... if you are company its 4 days max. On the lease side, payments still are due. If you are on the road, the company will pay for a holiday meal (within certain limits... don't plan on a bar tab for instance,) you just send the receipt in with your next trip.

    When I ran company side, my FM got me home on two of them every year. One year they had me drive bobtail (paid at the company's expense) from North Platte NE to Denver CO.

    If you want hometime around Easter, Fourth of July, etc, they'll do their level best to get you there.
