Hello,
I was wondering how the Prime school works for people who are coming from Massachusetts? I was reading my states requirements for "CDL Transfers".
From what I grasp, I need 2 years of relevant experience to transfer the CDL. How would it work in my case?
My recruiter called yesterday and I missed the call, I tried calling him a few times today but his voicemail is full, and I'll keep trying. I also shot him an e-mail but I'm kinda wondering how this works.
Thanks,
Brandon

You will have to take all written and practical tests to transfer your MO CDL. This was explained to us during orientation. The way I read the statute you posted, to transfer a CDL without taking tests you would have to have had the MO CDL and only the MO CDL for at least two years. So having a MA class D license within the 2 years would cause you to have to take the tests. If you had a CDL in more than one state over the last two years, gotta take the tests.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply. This seems like a pain in the ### lol, would they let you keep the CDL issued in Missouri for two years before I switch it back to Massachusetts? I'm just trying to avoid doing everything twice.
Thanks,

I'm pretty sure that won't fly either unless you physically move your permanent address outside of MA.

Okay thank you.
