I will ask my wife to kindly do the books and keep track of the income and expenses. Personally, I don't care too much about following the money. She on the overhand can squeeze a buffalo/Jefferson off a nickle.

See this what i dont understand then , of all the places i went thru ot class'es ok, during the time i arrive till i went home or back too motel, they had us log it on duty time, now i didnt mind that, becuse i wanted too learn how too do logs the right way, however heres were it get's sticky, if i'm logging, i should be getting paid then and i'm at that point i'm h hired right , becuse i am doing log's and eating up my hours for next week when my trainer pick's me up, he looks at me , how many hours, i tell him, he just says o- crap, so what i began too do to get on top this, is tell my dispacther, my new one is that i would like too take a 34 and just send me home then i come back or i might just stay there doing my 34

Stuff to bear. Bear to stuff. It's all good.

A lot of it is just practice. You are not hired until you're hired but you still need to learn to log. The logging you do during school is for practice, not for real. "Next week" it gets real and you get to make mistakes.GSWx Thanks this.

You're now associated with a motor carrier. Granted, you're not an employee yet, but when you start driving your time must be accounted for. Going to class is on-duty (because you're doing something related to the business of trucking) not driving - that part is self explanitory.
As far as pay is concerned, if the wheels aren't turning you don't get paid. PERIOD. It is what it is, and if you can't deal - well, you can always go flip McBurgers.
Finally, you MUST log your time like you live it. Anything else is falsification of a log book, which can have serious legal consequences. Some guy laid a big truck over on its side across a highway in Wisconsin a few years ago. A bus full of kids crashes into it - lots of deaths. So, do you know what this jerk is doing time for? 20 years in prison for multiple instances of logbook falsification.GSWx, DenaliDad and DragonTamerBrat Thank this.
