im coming from sacramento area starting orientation on Aug 31st. were u coming from? Are you going to be there at the same time?

Hey, IP. Been really busy. I have a business that is "seasonal", so I make hay while the sun's shining. That, plus handling all the "home stuff" keeps me real busy during the spring, summer and fall.

Took the month of August off and am riding shotgun right now. Having fun and boy...we have had some adventures. His FM keeps him hopping.

Wow, filled out an app on Prime website. Told me to call recruiting, I did. They told me I did not qualify. What the heck do they use from a generic app to qualify having a stable work history, clean driving history and no criminal charges ever....I thought it was hilarious.

 

Probably where you live. I'll take a stab.. I bet you live in Florida?

 

Btw... Why didn't you ask what disqualified you?

I find that hilarious. You go through the trouble and don't follow through... But enough to come here and complain about it.

 

I've noticed a lot of people come on here and complain about Prime. I wonder why? I mean, I am starting Orientation soon.... cannot wait. However, I guess people always have to find a reason to complain about something.

You are probably right though U2... he lives in Florida. Just not enough frieght.

 

Don't be so quick to judge or assume....I did call to "follow through" and the generic receptionist just kept repeating "you don't qualify" to every question I asked. I finally called back and asked to speak to the person that made that decision and she informed me after being laid off last year there was too large a gap of not being employed.

Secondly, I wasn't "complaining"....I was adding what I had experienced. Just because somebody adds something to a thread and it's not positive does not mean they are complaining. And no I do not live in Florida.

 

If you called back and followed through, then say so.
