I got stuck in the ne region, my fleet manager told me"since you got issued an ultra light your running the ne region we dont send those west" . But everybody upgrading the week I was in springmo got ultralights (except teams) so are they sticking everybody up here or what? Also she told me .34 per mile +.05 because of the ultralight +.10 ne region =.49 per mile running up here. she also didnt have me get chains, arent I supposed to have them? Or am I just lucky enough to go from a slacker trainer to the same kind of fm.

1. Im not sure if you are NE REGIONAL or just stuck in the NE. Are you sure you are, because it makes a big difference? Seeing your profile says you are from Florida, that goes against what company policy is of NE Regional Fleet Drivers must live in the NE. However, they change things all the time
2. Its a .05/mile bonus to be assinged to the NE REGIONAL Fleet. It is not .05/mile bonus to run NE freight. If you are not on a NE REGIONAL fleet, there is no .05/mile bonus
3. Yes it is .05/mile bonus to run in a lightweight... if you are NE Regional then the total bonus is .05 NE + .05 lightweight = .10/mile
4. Your FM doesnt get you chains. You are responsible for getting chains from driver lineup along with your load locks. It can be done at any terminal. If you need a chain rack the shop will install one for you.
5. Yes lightweights run out West. I was just in CA and saw at least 4 of them. However. Prime prefers to send teams out to CA as most of the freight coming out is team. That just means it is less likely for a solo to go out there... Again, less likely, but it does happen for a solo.
6. IF you are actually on a NE REGIONAL fleet, then yes, you will not run out west.
All of us drivers get stuck in the NE all the time. It just depends on how long before we eventually get a load that takes us out. That does not make us a NE Regional fleet driver.
You need to clarify which fleet you are in with us for more help.
(and if you are not sure, then definantly clarify with your FM)SmkNThDrkNght and Carabello720 Thank this. -

Im sorry to bother you but my husband has only been driving truck for about a year. He was on the truck with his trainer driving team but recently went regional so that he could be with me more. They are giving him directions by the (callcom?) and use allot of abbreviations. One of the abbreviations was EOR and D/E. He is very frustrated because the GPS tried to bring him to the wrong place and is having a difficult time understanding the directions...could you help me out?
