It might be a little tight, but i think i will make due with a little truck. It's nice to know they keep you moving. It will be a bit before i get my own truck, but i can't wait.

I'm not sure I heard them right...

On the Jan. safety CD it sounds like they are ditching the small Pete's. I accidentally stepped on my copy so I can't go back and listen.

Said that they were more prone to rollovers... Sort of jokingly they said that they had a bunch of lightweight Pete's for sale on the used market.

More Columbias and Internationals I guess.

U2, Recruiter is going to contact me from PRIME,Monday, looking forward to a change in career, just earned my CDL permit, I live west of Boston.
So does this make it 'automatic' I will drive for NE Regional fleet?
If so, and the pay does seem pretty good, as much as I would love hometime, how are the miles, if I wanna run run run, does it depend on # of loads avail, or a FM that is willing to give you the business (in a good way)?
Lastly, if I do get a load west (more than happy to take it) is NE Reg. pay in effect or is that somethong I keep a track of till I hit west of the Missisippi?

I'm sure U2 and the other experienced drivers have more insight than myself, but I spoke to my recruiter about the NE regional. After I spoke to him about it, he told me he would have me assigned to it. So I would suggest asking your recruiter, the impression I got was that you were not nessecarly assigned to it because of where you live.... I could be wrong though!

No, it is NOT automatic that you get the NE Regional. You have to request it through your recruiter and FM. NE regional pay only happens for those ON the NE Regional fleet WHILE they are in the NE.
