He won't have to worry or listen to too many complaints. He's retiring. Heard it straight from Dave in safety.

I'm not a driver yet, but this really frosts me. I enjoy my privacy and at any time I could be on someone's private reality show? That's BS. If all companies go to this, I'll be skipping the company driver step and become o\o out of the gate.

I'd like to tape an 8"x10" close up shot of my hairy butt right in front of the camera. Anytime they want to turn it on, they'd get "winked" at.

I wouldn't be able to keep my hands off myself. I'm a sexy beast.

But I would like to see drivers fight this invasive trend of cameras in the trucks.

In all seriousness. .. if my employer wanted to put one in my truck I would simply clean out my truck and go elsewhere.

It is their truck and they can do whatever they want. But that does not mean I have to continue working for them.

If prime were to lose enough drivers over this issue then they would drop it.

If they say the camera is not on then I would not believe them.

I have considered a dashcam for my own protection but not one on the inside watching me.

I've read on this forum where drivers have been questioned about in cab stuff - Stuff they wouldn't have known if they were not watching periodically.

And, I agree that if drivers were to revolt in mass, well, they'd have to re-evaluate the in truck cams.
