Right on. But shouldn't we ask if Prime is passing on those discounts on to the I/C, or if, like Celadon, they say they are, but only a small percentage shows up on his settlement? I run the numbers on my settlements about once a month, and haven't found anything out of line, but I'm not leased to Prime. I'd certainly verify any of that. And, I can buy fuel anywhere, but I only get that enormous per gallon discount at the network outlets. So of course, that's where I buy my fuel and plan my trips to do so. My company has a fuel desk that provides up the hour fuel prices...checking in with them before spending $400-$500 dollars saved me $1,200 last year. More or less, of course. Fuel is my biggest predictable cost, so I'm very careful. Knowing what little I know about mega's, I'd check on that discount pass-through. My $.02.
Prime's lease deal. The math gets done.

Fuel discount formulas are prominently posted so its easy to figure what the discount is. The amount of the discount is listed with each purchase as a line item on your settlement statement. Its very transparent and straight forward, and the corporate website lists our final cost at all in-network fuel stops updated daily. Now this isn't to say that the odd billing mistake isn't made, nor should one neglect reviewing their settlement.
In eight years at Prime I can count the billing mistakes on one hand, and they were all corrreced promptly with one exception. That one involved the connivance of a third party, and I needed to produce some receipts to close that one out. I've always received the corrections on the next settlement.Last edited: Feb 11, 2015

Hmm😎🏁 well then, ironpony you're doing exceptionally fine my good man, thanks for all excellent inside information on primes leasing program, I'm sure none here suspect you of trying to inspire anyone to get into the prime lease program but merely showing everyone that they too can be a success with the prime lease program, wow, you have really shed some light on this deep dark deception that this nothing more than a scam and my my whatta silly goose I am to think for a minute that some office boy would get on here and pretend to be a successful prime lease driver, I'm sure it's not for everyone to be as successful as you are ironpony congratulations on your success by the proven track record of any lease program in this industry you certainly stand out we must say, my advice to anyone reading this or thinking about doing something like this take a very close look at Mr ironpony here and please be wise and do some research before listening to any lip service or hype....but remember there are exceptional men like ironpony here that have been very wise & successful and have lots of answers for anyone that has any questions... Starboyjim Thanks this. -
Why are you so concerned / negative with PRIMES LEASING as you supposedly are against it and anyone who has anything to do with it as your sarcastic replies show?
-
Well, that would be.... " track record" of any lease program in this industry and concerned about my uninformed younger colleges falling to into traps set forth by those with dishonest gain in their hearts..... I hope you feel the same way brother😎🏁🏁🏁

But I must admit also, I have never been interested in such a program, the first thing that raises a red flag for me is: why is this office scum so excited about improving my life with their laid out plan? So I have never bothered to listen any further than that, it may very well work for some but not most, the one pushing this ideal seems to be a little too excited to get my attention, if this were a good tree it would have good fruit, it would sell itself with no problems ever!!! .... But that's just the way I see it....

concerned about my uninformed younger colleges
you have not noticed 50% of them will not listen when you try to tell them that their truck & trailer will not fit under a low bridge , let alone how to better themselves.
As for leasing not my concern who tries it I know some that made it work others like my youngest Brother In Law has tried them all except PRIME and is the poster boy of how to fail at it regardless of what ANYONE tries to tell him. -
double yellow Thanks this.
