How big of an inverter will I need to get to run a small office printer/scanner? I looked for manufacture specs but can't find any info. I am trying to stay with a small inverter because my truck is due to get replaced in a year or so. I need the printer to print off BOL from dispatch for blind deliveries. Everything else is 12v dc. Thanks for the help!

I'm nt sure what the wattage is, but I use a small inverter that plugs into a cigarette lighter and it does just fine. I think it was about $30.

@DoubleO7 What kind of printer are you using?

I have an HP Office Jet 3830, and I use a Cobra 400 Watt Inverter (Cigar Lighter Plug In Style) I bought from pilot for $30 bucks. Works great with no issues.
