I appreciate the encouragement I've done some tough jobs dealing with alot of different people , I usually just kill them with kindness but I'm no pushover. I've worked for the prison for 5 years working close custody, psychiatric hospital 4, I ve learned to deal with people. I'm blessed I have a whole wife lol and 5 kids so I have to do whatever I have to do to take care of them financially. I see alot of comments about trucking I haven't seen none say they couldn't take care of home. I know it's not gonna be easy but I'm willing to put the time in and gain the experience to drive safely and get the job done. I appreciate all the comments and I will keep a update on this forum. One thing I can say with the lil bad I see in trucking you guys are close knit like the military and try to show us newbies the rope. God bless

Check out Troops into Transportation. They use your GI Bill to pay for everything to get your CDL even hotel if needed. The training seems to be pretty good. They send an application to several companies first week of class and you have recruiters beating your door down. Several recruiters visit the class and bring lunch.
