Pritchett Trucking

I appreciate the advice, Pritchett really stepped up to the plate in my opinion with the offer, and it's a good one at that. I'll definately contact you when we move back, we were down there last weekend and I saw your trailer dropped over there by the airport, that's why I thought it might have been you up there in Panama on Monday when I came across that other driver.

 

I know personally we need to get out of Tallahassee and get back to our roots and this is an opportunity to do so. Would I like to take my local job with me? Yes and no, it's nice because I know what to expect, but the challenge is gone for me, the thought of doing something new and being in different place on a daily basis keeps me intrigued.

 

They're HR department is small, very small. It's a one man operation ran by Roy Crews, standup guy, just very busy. The pay will depend on the effort you're willing to put forth, my first year I made 40,000, I made right at 44,000 last year and I'm on par for 46,000 this year. The hours can be long, we tend to start early but in my opinion we've got a good crew in the main office, you'll hear stories conflicting to mine but I, emphasis on the I, enjoy working here, it's not for everyone. All I can say is try try again, eventually you'll get a hold of Roy and he'll be able to discuss things with you and let you know what he has available. If you have any other question let me know.

Well Aug.15 should be my first day back on the frameless dump running the south. Am I nervous? Yes. Excited? Yes. I think I've gotten to the point with my local job where I need a little bit more out of it and hopefully this will be a good fit, my primary areas will be GA, AL, FL, SC, NC, this should be a good mix of the road with a good mix of weekend hometime. Hopefully this thread will regain a bit of steam now that I'll have some more interesting things to talk about, so here's hopin'.........for the best. I'll keep everyone up to speed.

 

It's Saturday Aug.6th, I appreciate all the comments on this thread but I will no longer post my opinions/thoughts concerning Pritchett. I'm still employed with Pritchett but it is in my best interest to close the doors on this. Thanks for all the support.
