Garbage typically, but it all depends where you live, that’s not available everywhere. All divisions offer opportunity, it really depends on the driver, not many want to put forth the effort it requires to make a good living here, this isn’t a typical trucking job.

% of load, some accounts like garbage and wood mill products are flat rate. Certain garbage accounts in west Florida have a daily bonus program built in that allows the driver to make quite a bit more if you’re willing to stay in it and get your loads moved.

Thnx, do you guys ever experience delays loading or unloading at the pits due to a clog of other End dump drivers there? Is there detention in these cases or it's part of the gig... I'm a reefer otr guy completely different lane and have done flatbed before so completely clueless to your lanes expertise but pritchett has a terminal right me in daytona beach area and the otr is getting old quick

I don’t have much dealings with the lime rock side of the company, I haul it from time to time and never really experience any down time. Our only “terminals” are lake butler, worthington springs, and palatka, we have accounts in numerous locations though.

As far as detention, not really, I write it up if it’s anything over an hour and a half, you typically wouldnt see those types of delays on local work.

It’s a love hate relationship, I’ve had it since new, it was down for 3 months this year due to some major electrical issues, since I’ve got it back it does a pretty good job. It’s not made for the amount of off road abuse it takes though for the job it does.
