Your truck hauling someone else's goods? Sounds like a carrier for hire. Not sure what they would say about you doing a favor for someone or if it's a non arm's length relationship.

If you are a carrier for hire why woudl it matter?

Can you "buy" the goods from your father before you move them?

Got to be careful, one cop will say it is legal while another will say no.

If it is a truck attached to a farm, then it is exempt from what I was told, if it isn't, then you are hauling for another company.
