Trees and drivingforce, you each had different suggestions which is fine. However care to explain your thoughts. There is a large gap between your percents

I agree with trees. For someone to find loads only and do billing, shouldn't be more than 5%. There's a difference between a dispatch service and a truck company you're leased on to.

I have a good friend of mine that does it for drivers I know he does all the paper work and conformation soon as it's done he e-mails the conformation to the driver with a bill already made up so his people just print them put BOL in a envelop and stamp it...just make shur you both understand what to expect from each other.

If your pulling 53 dry van in the northeast, why would you want to pay someone to find freight. Gotta be the easiest to get loads.

If it is just finding loads and the paperwork for that load 5% or $50 per load. Doing extra paperwork for you could be an agreed upon salary. I have been talking with the wife for sometime about doing this. She has both sides of the fence between knowing the truck side from my family and the administrative side from her, she is a property manager, she is a good fit.
