So a business should get a pass to break the law, endanger the motoring public and kill someone ... just because they are small?
Probably going to be seeing more of this

I guess a fatality isn't too bad... unless its among your friends or family. Failure to correct mistakes and improve compliance pretty much tells me they don't deserve to be in business.

This is probably a so called "chameleon" carrier. The same names/addresses show up on multiple DOT registrations. One of them has a bad record, the others miraculously have clean safety records. This is how they are systematically shutting down unsafe motor coach operators in the northeast. One of the other threads talks about not hauling cheap freight. This is one of the ways cheap freight gets hauled. My carrier has to abide by all the regulations, and by and large does, certainly making a good faith effort. Shut down all of these gypsy carriers asap.

30 -3+ years ago, I drove 15-16 hours a day. My truck was always pretty close to right. Some drivers can't drive that long. I like running at night. Less traffic, wind, and problems.

I'm definitely a night runner. Even the big cities are ghost towns at 3 in the morning. I leave the grid-lock traffic to the company drivers.

ACCORDING to that order. looks .like it was based on there heavy hauls. to which they weren't properly permitted for. or equipped to haul heavy.
they have a chjance to remedy the situation, once they get knowledge and equipment. and there drivers start logging properly. -
