I see you have that goofy column mounted shifter. They only used that for a few years. Maybe make sure you are actually in drive, and not in 4th...

Yeah, I’ve checked that too. Unfortunately I’m going to go with a different axle and see how it goes from there. Thanks

I dont see how the axle ratio is the problem when you've never changed it. You said before you changed the DPF it would go over 55mph but now that you've changed the DPF it wont. So somethings been changed electronically that is ether making the speedometer read slow or there is a speed limiter set somewhere in the system that you’re not seeing.
AModelCat Thanks this. -
Yes, I’ve thought about that a lot but since I’ve been everywhere trying to figure this problem no one seem to get to the issue. I’ve spent some good money trying to get it right and nothing. I’m going to change all sensors on the dpf side and see if that helps. Unfortunately me relying on the “professionals” at Freightliner and Allison won’t get the job done but instead keep jumping hurdles. Thank you Robert. How would I go about looking into the speed limiter? I’ve looke all over for switches etc. And nothing catches my eye
