Hello Everyone,
we have a Volvo 2007 with the auto shift "meritor zf". It's giving me a very hard time. changed almost everything on it but still giving the same code. It works fine for some time and then just stuck. Turn off the engine wait for 30 min. then everything goes away. Doesn't show any codes. Took it to the dealer but they saying everything is fine. Just drive away and its starts again. Here is the codes its giving now
mid 130 pid 43 fmi 2. Also shows code MID 144 PSID 205. Also it says "STARTING SWITCH STATUS ERRATIC" We changed the control module. Paid $5000. It seems it wasn't the problem. Changed all wires and censors. I don't know what else to do on it.
Please advice if you dealt with this issue.
Thank you

I hope its not a bad ground. What were the symptoms leading up to the problem?
Did it work fine, and then suddenly it did not?
Where do you live? -
Maybe its some kind of electrical problem? Might be the ignition?

I'd say it's either a sensor or a ground.

It sucks you did not cross paths with a better shop / dealer to handle the issue. The certainly are not all created the same.
There's only so much they can tell you on the phone. But the one here in Phoenix is simply outstanding. And I found the one near Lubbock, TX to be very good as well.
Stay away from any of the " TEC EQUIPMENT " dealers.Gulsher Thanks this. -
