So Im having problems getting hired after having driven for Werner (of course). Werner fired me for violations of company policy. Basically I had a student who was an idiot and I told him to get a new trainer. He turned around and said all kinds of bs about me. Amidst the lies he told was one truth, this last winter on I-80 in PA I hit a bad patch of ice and started to lose control, I did manage to regain control before fully jackknifing, so no accident. But naturally this scared the **** out of the student and it was among the subjects he brought up when ripping me apart. I admitted that this event did indeed happen, which they took for everything being true and fired me. Werner sucks so I dont give a ****, but a few companies Ive tried told me I am ineligible for hire due to having lost control of the vehicle. I dont have any violations on my official record, just werners bad reference. I've tried to find work in non driving capacities.... warehouse work, maintenance etc, but with the bad reference from Werner no one will hire me. Does anyone know a company that will hire me despite this? Ive had to move back in with family, and theyre gonna kick me out soon if I cant find work. I just need a job![]()

Did you get a copy of your DAC? You can post a rebutal to what Werner put on it. If a company turned you down and said it was because of what Werner said, you can request in writing what your previous employer said about you. Then place a response to what that statement says.

I just requested it. Should get it in 15 days. I hear swift is pretty lenient... any truth to this?

Try local with Watkins and Shepard, I'm not sure of there hiring policies but try them.
