problems with electrical connections

have a 05 mxs acert cat,has anyone else experienced a loss of power due to loose connections,was down in carolinas pulling hills today and noticed power dropoff, went under hood to see if turbo boot or something cut or clamp broke,moved wired around ,got back i truck and puled good rest of day,did cat have any problems with boost sensor not reading correctly in these years?
