I honestly have no clue for Canada, you might check out cnet.com they will have reviews on normal 1's and you might see who is best for Canada THEN see if they make a commercial unit.

I don't have any Canadian testers with a Rand McNally at this time so I can't advise on that one. However, we have several with the PCMiler brand who are happy with it of both sides of the border. Hope that helps.

Hmmm CoPilot 11 today was having some major issues. It was calling east west, and north south. Thing is the actual turn by turn directions were correct, it's just the names of the roads were wrong.

    Add to that
    1) Co-Pilot also has truckstops as much as 15 miles away from where they actually are.:biggrin_25516:
    2) It doesn't work with screen resolution higher than 800x600.:biggrin_25516:
    3) It doesn't work on 64-bit computers:biggrin_25510:
    4) ALK isn't updating it at all:biggrin_25510:
    5) It doesn't show "new" roads, which have been around for years:biggrin_2552:

Need I say any more????? :biggrin_25516:

ALK will be coming out with an update shortly (within the next 2-3 months) for the current users of CoPilot Truck 11 ... which will include both software update and mapping update.

As far as a new version of CoPilot Truck .... mmmm .... maybe ... maybe not.

    Some clarifications:

    - Yes, and not just truckstops. Since the "data" portion of the software is almost 3 years old, it is in need of an update indeed.

CPT11 works at the following screen resolutions:
    800 x 600
    1024 x 600
    1024 x 768
    1152 x 648
    1280 x 720
    1280 x 800
    1280 x 960
    1280 x 1024
    1360 x 768
    1600 x 1200
    1680 x 1050

It does not work on XP-64, Vista64, or Win7 Home Premium 64. It does work on Windows 7 64-bit (Pro or Ultimate with XP Mode)
Soon. It's late, but it's coming.
    See #1 and #4.
