Profit at a $1.15 ?

    That is no profit at all, I don't drive anything under $2.00, but then again I'm my own boss.

    Load payed me $1269.21

    At the time i ran this fuel was 2.05 /gal

    My truck cost for every thing minus fuel and wages for driver are about 50 cents a mile, thats for manintance, repairs,tires, truck purchase and truck purchase replacement and all ins... insurance cost me 135.00/ week

    948x50 cents= $474.00
    fuel cost = $198.29
    total cost =$672.29

    income $1269.21
    cost -$672.29
    Net profit $596.92

    62.9 cents/mile profit for driver o/o

    There are lots of guys still doing $2/mile, freight is only as cheap as you are willing to make it

    Here are some #s for u this was my last week left ga last tue for $1270 to il "800 miles" left il to sc $1500 800 miles sc to ga $600 300 miles ga to oh $1100 700 miles that is 7 days. I feel pretty good about these numbers with the freight situation right now.

    I can get all the $2 freight u want going 100-300 miles and spend most of the week unloading and loading but the long hauls are lacking the good rates these are flatbed rates im refering too.

    Is this not what I was asking for? The details of how much CPM you put aside to cover insurance, truck payment, repairs, etc?
    Perhaps you should re-read the post. Until then, the profit was $829 or $36 hour.

    I could get to TX from oh for $2 or I could round trip to the east coast for $2/mi but I would only get 1 round a week and some weeks none. I'm parking mine, I got an offer last week that would be stupid to turn down

    Submit that 9.8 mpg to IFTA and they will drop you to 4 mpg and you will pay high fuel taxes.
