You claim that $1.15 per mile made you no money. But we just went through the math, using the figures that you supplied and I show you making pretty good coin.

So just to clarify, you feel you were profitable or that you were not profitable?
From what I can tell, roughly .55 per mile will cover your costs. .50 for truck payment, repairs, etc. and .05 for insurance. So if you are an owner operator, you need at least .55 to move the truck. Probably a bit more as your MPG is a bit higher than most. So lets say .65 per mile. Anything above .65 per mile as an O/O is pure profit then? -
