All those numbers look and sound great on paper. Yet you are one stupid driver away from bankruptcy.

meaning that if your driver doesn’t look after your truck it’s going to cost you a lot to repair things.

Factoring is a place where you send your freight transit invoices,, so you can get your money the same or the next day, instead of sending them to brokers who might take longer before they pay you.
Factoring takes their cut, usually 2-3% so if monthly you factor $32k that's somewhere between $640-$960.

A seasoned driver, you know ....the sort who instills confidence in the owner, these days want 75 - 80k per year on Mon-Fr and weekends at home job. Those guys don't want to do OTR and chase random freight for the owner's sake. They value consistency and stability, sometimes in exchange for a lesser pay.
    OK

    Your numbers are spot on!!!
Your insurance won’t go up at the same rate for each truck you add and you can trim some of that driver pay

Now don’t go listening to anyone else they will just laugh and discourage you

Take those numbers and multiply them by 20
Get 20 more trucks and you will have to put your money in several banks just to make sure it’s insured by the FDIC since each bank has a limit

    Siinman and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

And to be fair, you listed factoring fees in your business model, but you don’t know what factoring is.

Allow that to be your first big fat red flag.
