    There are a few good BC companies that pay 80-85% with your own trailer.

    Can't you apply for the NSC number without having insurance? It seems that's the first step in Canada. You can get the package/ forms at any scale in BC.

    All you need to apply for NSC is a registered company(or corp)...I did it online in about 15 minutes & had mine that afternoon.
