3 points of contact. The same way you climb in and out of literally everything else, subconsciously. But then when you're told to, you go retarded and now you have to think about it.
Pretend you're on the roof of your house climbing off onto a step ladder. That's your answer of how to climb out of the trailer. Which conveniently is the same way they're going to tell you that you're supposed to do it. Or yell something stupid, like "WHO ####### FARTED?!?!?!?!", get a running start, jump out, and keep running til you get to your car and drive off. Definitely do it that way if you don't like that company and you're not going to take the job anyway. The trick is to leave them as confused as possible.

Leave the left door closed and locked (secured). Some left doors have a vertical handle you can grab, otherwise grab the edge of the door itself and step up on the rail, then step up onto the deck.
Getting out I either reverse that process or squat to a sitting position to vault down, using my hands on the deck to soften the landing. Probably your company will want to see the climb down method. -
Jump out, and don't forget to keep your knees locked and rigid

since you have gotten so many wise remarks i figured i would give you a real answer. I always leave the left door closed and use the latch rod to hold on to. with that said. I didn't know they came out with a proper way to get out of a trailer.

3 points entering to climb in,and back out to exit the same way.
Knee down,and 3 points of contact getting out.
Make sure doors are secured,so you don't accidently get locked
in by winds blowing doors closed.
This was how I was told,but who knows what companies want -
I have to ask, what company tests you on getting in and out of a trailer???? Did I miss something??

First check to make sure that Immigration Officials are not anywhere near by.
Then while exiting the trailer do so in a safe manner. Turn and get on all fours and lower you feet to the DOT bumper. Maintain a hand hold on the trailer door. Straighten up and then step onto the ground.
Next run like hell across the desert into the heart of El Paso. The next part is tricky. Go by the welfare office. See all of those folks who are applying for food stamps. Stand near them when they are filling out applications. Copy down their Social Security numbers. They don't need them. Go get a job and use their number for your own. Work hard and make money. Live 22 in a room and send most of you pay back home to support your family. Don't learn the language as it isn't important. You are not going to ever be welcomed here. We prefer to spend billions of tax dollars supporting those who don't work then to welcome those of you who put us to shame with your hard work.
The way to get out of a trailer is to do so safety and slowly. If your company has a way they want you to do it, you will have to ask them. -

Okay I'm back.
I guess I should have explained a little better.
When I was looking at Schneider some time ago I came across a video that shows their physical tests. Among other totally stupid tests, one was getting in and out
of a trailer correctly or "safely". They show a guy on a mock up trailer stepping on the dot bumper then on both knees on/in the trailer then standing up. Really lame.
I just put 1 foot on the bumper then the other in the trailer and pull myself in by the door.
Evidently some companies test you on these "safety" related issues.
Unfortunately most companies look for ways to not hire you and not look at the positive things.
So I was wondering if they have gotten that tacky yet and initiated any dumb ### requirements.
Oh yeah, I don't duck walk either. Another stupid test. I can do a PTI just fine without it.
