I worked for KLLM for almost 15 months before coming off the road. My reason to come off the road was not due to the company, but to be home every night with my family. I drove both company and lease. I did pretty well with both. The only complaint I had with the company side was the forced dispatch. So whether it was a 3oo mile load or a 1,00 mile load, you had to take it. The company drivers, more so than not get stuck with the short loads no one wants to run. Other than that, if you "train" your dispatcher so to speak, and not yell at them, they will usually take care of you. The local job I took didn't work out and I am actually looking to go back with them, I don't know of any other decent companies to go with. Ie pays well, benefits, and actually get miles.
