Pro's & Con's of Dispatchers

I love my dispatcher. A good dispatcher makes trucking suck alot less when you run into problems with a-holes that waste your time.

 

This is a CATCH 22 thread.. the dispatchers that never drove a truck only see things by time & numbers they have no clue about break downs and traffic and loading & unloading all sorts of things they never have personally had to deal with
The ex drivers know how to play the mind games.. and like to belittle you by telling you how great of a driver they were and they easily over came every challenge there ever was plus they can lie better because most of them were nothing more than circus clowns at the truck stop lunch counter.
But I'am counteracting myself with the ex driver statement because in the 35 years of driving I only ever had 1 dispatcher for 3 years and he did understand when things didn't go as planed he was great to work with

 

My dispatchers at my company never ever bug me that’s what I like about mine.
