Protecting a 1/4" air line under the cab

    Ok cool. I can hit NAPA and see what they have....this may not even be anything to worry about.
    I had to remove the OEM heatshield and this was the only real thing it was protecting.

    could you just use silicon heater hose slide over top the air line

    That was my next thought too. However, After driving today and idling...there is nothing even remotely melted.
    So I guess what I did by using split-loom and tying it off and the best I could, might have worked...
