I'm going to work for Interstate as an O/O.
Why?
They do all short hops on % back and forth out of Phoenix, so I can get back to making some coin AND watch Dad. It's self dispatch.
This means THE RETURN OF BLACKIE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Actually he will be Blackie II.
ANYWAY--- I got an actual copy of my PSP report, and when I get it all blacked out, I'll post it.
What does it contain???
1) Lists CDL's you've had from the time you got your first one.
2) # of Crashes. Broken into subspecies-
a) Crashes with fatalities
a1) Number of fatalities
b) Crashes with injuries
b1) Number of injuries
c) # of towaways
d) # of hazmat release
3) Inspections-
a) Driver inspections, how many out of service for driver, OoS rate ( % )
b) Vehicle inspections, how many out of service for vehicle, OoS rate ( % )
c) Hazmat inspections, how many out of service for hazmat, OoS ( % )
4) Then it lists your inspections, now mine only goes back two years, cause I was doing mixer for 3 years, so the years before that, I guess they weren't keeping score or track.
The inspection part contains all your inspection report numbers, date, location, and carrier.
No where does it list points. It has columns for violations, but nothing that say points. Of course I'm a good boy and don't have any and never cheat, so there's that.
So anyway I'll scratch out my license numbers and scan it so everyone can see one. They send you copies of all this stuff.
Going to orientation Monday. And for the paid orientation crowd its $150 day, don't know about rooms cause it's here in town, but I think they spring for all that.

Which Interstate; there's a couple of them.
-
I like to see them reach back into the 80's and pull my original class a's.... I don't think they go back that far. Do they?
As a side note, we just lost Axiom in Little Rock, they packed up lock stock and barrell transferring forever to south dakota where taxation is very small compared to Arkansas and carried all the information with them on every American living and dead since the founding of our Nation from which they make a living.Mike2633 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
Interstate Distributer Company. Huge on the west coast, don't think they do so much back east.
-
Gimme a few minutes and I'll scan it and post it, you can see it. The inspection part is pretty impressive the data they have.x1Heavy Thanks this.

Their OTR runs coast to coast. There's a terminal near Nashville. Seems like a good outfit.Mike2633 Thanks this.

Ok after trying everything to scan this as a photo, and it not all showing up, here's a picture from phone. It scans on my PC as a PDF.
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
you must have been laying down when you posted it Dave,

You probably didn't have any inspections in your mixer year to show up. But it goes back 3 years regardless of what your doing.
I got an overweight ticket and inspection. Driving a local end dump. 2 1/2 years before the CSA BS started. It showed up on my psp for 6 months when it hit 3 years and expired.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
Correct. Never got grabbed in the mixer. And it was a rolling violation so I got lucky. I guess DOT doesn't really mess with mixers if they are loaded, I guess there is a liability that comes into play if the concrete goes bad. But there are guys that do get inspected, but 99/100 are do to something that caught DOT attention.
One dude picked his booster up to make a corner downtown, and this DOT just through the book at him, and it was in a rolling wreck as well. He was looking at a possible $10,000 fine with the weight & equipment violations. Appeared, long story short, $185.
Another got stopped in a nice truck, after long day, he was holding his head in his hand up against the window and bear thought he was on the phone. He showed him the phone, and he could tell no calls had been made, but as long as bear was there, plain wrapper too, he received a Level 2.
