    got a call today from a recruiter from PTL,it was a good talk,they offer me 7 cents a mile more than Swift & a shorter training period. I'm schedule for orientation with Swift next week. I was really set with my choice with Swift until I talk with PTL today. which is a better choice.

    Personally, I would go with the APU's.

    Have you looked at Howard Transportion? Terminal in Kerny,NC & smaller 135 truck company.

    PTL is probably the more respected carrier, and like you said more pay. Their trucks are also faster and, according to their trailers, they drive a fine line!

    PTL had a pay scandal, I remember a few drivers who went there lured by .cpm then when in orientation the real lower pay rate was exposed in the fine print. Go read the reviews on this site, this was 3 years ago when I was reviewing them.
