PubliX in Florida. Never again. (This was my first time teaming btw)

Picked up a load of sunny delights in Littleton, MA. My co driver ran I-95 at night so we didn't hit any traffic till I drove during the day from SC to FL.

The load had 4 stops, all publiX warehouses. The first one was in Sarasota I think and the last was Orlando. Guess what, it took almost a whole week to get the trailer empty. Because each stop, we can only deliver during the appt time which was 3am for all 4 stops. 5hr+ to unload a couple of pallets from each stop and $60 lumpers for each stop.

A thousand mile run was not worth it for this one.

Truth be told Publix is better than most--and there is NO reason to pay lumpers there--it is posted in every Publix receiving office that any driver w/ANY kind of certification(and they mean any--make one up it doesn't matter)is allowed to use ANY equipment needed to unload..and if you do your own most of the receivers will sign your bills right on the spot..We do a 6 stop Publix load outta the Badger 3x a week and the Only reason it takes more than a day is distance--But we get Jax-Orl-Lakeland-Bradenton--Deerfield Bch--day one then cant do Miam till early next AM--problem was with whomever you got the load from and made silly appts--which btw--any driver willing can take the time can change them--just a quick call and explanation to the receiver--w/ltl thry'll almost always tell you to come on in...

I am Halo Certified in use of Warthog controls. Will that make my Publix visits not suck?
